The ICC Men's T20 World Cup concluded with India emerging victorious after a thrilling final match against South Africa. Throughout the tournament, the Indian team remained unbeaten, showcasing their dominance. However, in terms of individual performances, Afghanistan's opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz stood out by scoring the highest number of runs, amassing a total of 281 runs.

Among other notable batsmen in the tournament were India's Rohit Sharma with 257 runs, Australia's Travis Head with 255 runs, and Quinton de Kock of South Africa with 243 runs.

Speaking of bowling performances, Afghanistan's fast bowler Fazal Haq Farooqi and India's Arshdeep Singh led the charts with 17 wickets each. South Africa's Anrich Nortje and India's Jasprit Bumrah followed closely with 15 wickets each.

Arshdeep Singh and Fazal Haq Farooqi set a new record for the most wickets taken in an ICC T20 World Cup edition. Jasprit Bumrah, on the other hand, bowled 110 dot balls in the tournament, maintaining an economy rate of 4.17, also a tournament record.

India's victory in the ICC T20 World Cup final against South Africa, where they chased down a target of 177 runs and restricted South Africa to 169 runs, highlighted their exceptional performance under pressure. This win secured India's second T20 World Cup title, reaffirming their status as global champions in the shortest format of cricket.
