In the ICC T20 World Cup, Pakistan cricket team's senior manager Wahab Riaz has submitted a report to the PCB regarding the team's poor performance.
According to sources, Wahab Riaz has outlined the reasons for the team's underperformance in the World Cup in his report.
Sources say that the detailed report includes input from Director Usman Wahla and Manager Mansoor Rana.
Wahab Riaz's report states that the national team did not play skillful cricket; players should have played according to their abilities. There seemed to be a lack of coordination and implementation of plans among the players.
The report suggests that players should have played with coordination and passion; they should not have let go of their intentions to win against India. According to sources, Wahab Riaz has also provided recommendations for the improvement of cricket in the future.
Sources say that Wahab Riaz mentioned that for the World Cup, players' camps should have been held more frequently, and there should have been more tours for the cricketers. Players will have to participate more in domestic cricket, and efforts will be needed to further enhance skills and fitness.
It is clear that Pakistan was knocked out in the early stages of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, facing defeats from inexperienced teams like Namibia and then India in the event.
