PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has spoken out in support of Haris Rauf following an incident with a fan in the USA. On social media platform X, Naqvi condemned the altercation, calling it completely unacceptable and demanding an immediate apology from those involved. He warned that legal action would be taken if the apology was not forthcoming.

Fellow cricketers Shadab Khan, Shan Masood, Junaid Khan, and Hasan Ali also expressed their support for Haris Rauf on X. Former team director Mohammad Hafeez joined them, emphasizing the need for fans to respect the personal lives of players and maintain the boundaries between their professional and personal lives.

Hasan Ali commented on the viral video of the incident, urging fans to express their criticisms respectfully and consider the players' families. He reminded everyone that all Pakistani cricketers aim to improve the nation's cricket.

Junaid Khan responded by asserting that while everyone has the right to criticize, no one has the right to use abusive language or invade personal privacy.

Shan Masood condemned the use of inappropriate language towards players, stressing the importance of respectful discourse.

Shadab Khan added that while fan criticism is valuable and helps players learn, personal attacks, especially in the presence of family, are unacceptable. He posed the question of how anyone would feel if subjected to such treatment in front of their own family.

The incident, which took place in Florida, involved Haris Rauf and a fan arguing over a photo. Rauf, who was with his wife at the time, reportedly reacted when the fan allegedly used offensive language. The situation escalated, but Rauf’s wife and other fans intervened to defuse it.
