Following their elimination from the T20 World Cup, some players of the Pakistan cricket team arrived in Lahore early this morning. The players and officials landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport via private airlines. Among the returning members were Naseem Shah, Usman Khan, and Wahab Riaz. However, captain Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Imad Wasim, Azam Khan, and Mohammad Amir did not return with the team.
The Pakistan team failed to advance to the Super 8 stage of the World Cup after losing two matches in the first round. These included an unexpected defeat to the USA and a narrow loss to India, despite having been in a strong position during the match.
